Reichert's membrane The BASEMENT MEMBRANE of the murine parietal endoderm (see EXTRAEMBRYONIC MEMBRANES). During mouse development, at the egg cylinder stage of development, cells derived from the primitive endoderm migrate to cover the entire inner surface of the mural trophectoderm (the PARIETAL ENDODERM) and produce a typical basement membrane containing laminin, type IV collagen, and entactin.
