TRITE: Topical Research Interests Comparator

TRITE is a pre-computed set of Medline similarity hits on topics of interest to medical researchers. TRITE uses the eTBLAST engine, operating on an edited set of topics selected from the Encyclopidia of Molecular Biology, Blackwell Science, Limited. The query consists of the first paragraph for each of the topics selected from the encyclopedia. This is an experimental system designed to demonstrate the utility of associating Medline abstracts/papers with topical information, and is part of our text data mining research project.
